We are focused on transferring technology from campus to industry and working with industry to solve pressing problems that will provide benefit to the public. One of the key ways in which we can do this is by building strategic partnerships and mutually beneficial relationships with companies, investors, and industry consortia.
Our OTTCP team can help you advance your business goals in a variety of ways, including by:
- Helping your company exploit technologies developed by Caltech and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The Institute executes 40 to 50 license and option agreements a year with partners ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups. If you are looking for investment opportunities, we can help direct you to our startups seeking funding.
- Connecting your company directly with Caltech faculty and students—and their research—through strategic membership-based programs like the Corporate Partners Program (CP2), sponsored research, or agreements that allow companies and researchers to share technologies and information as they work toward a common goal.
- Helping you to navigate other opportunities to work with Caltech, including student recruiting, funding sponsorships/fellowships, or participating in executive education.
If you are looking to license Caltech or JPL technology or have questions about technology transfer and startups, contact a member of our OTTCP team. If you are an established company looking to partner with Caltech, fill out our Corporate Engagement Survey.
